Plan A Themed Bath: Are you just waking up? Or are you about to head to bed? Need to boost your immune system? Are you Congested? Do you have sore muscles?

You can actually tailor bath time to meet your needs! Essential Oils mixed with Epsom Salt can work to your advantage. Oils like Lavender and Sandalwood, calm and relax. Citrus oils, such as Lemon and Wild Orange are energy boosters; while oils like Peppermint, Eucalyptus, and Frankincense are known for relieving symptoms of the common cold, flu, congestion, and an array of other ailments. Tailor your bath time to meet your needs, and get even more benefits from a soak in the tub!

Bath Pillow: A nice bath pillow can make all the difference!  Supporting your neck and shoulders will ensure that you get the most out of your relaxation time, without any stress or straining. Sit back, relax, and enjoy your favorite magazine, or a good book while allowing the water to soothe you--body, mind, and soul.

Pumice Stone: Once you have soaked for a bit and your skin is softened, use a pumice stone to remove any dead skin, or roughness from your feet, elbows, or knees. This technique will leave you feeling extra clean, soft, and refreshed.

Breathing exercises: Who said breathing exercises are just for yoga time? Bath time is the perfect opportunity to practice your breathing techniques! The buoyancy of your body soaking in water will help you to really feel your breath pattern, and encourage you to zone your concentration in on your breathing. Deep breaths combined with relaxing bath time = the ultimate stress reducer!

Prep For When You Get Out: Sadly, your bath time will come to an end. Have your favorite lotion, warm pajamas, and fuzzy socks ready!

Incorporating one or all of these ideas into your bath time will have you feeling calm, refreshed, and at peace mentally, physically, and emotionally.
